Minimally Invasive Surgery

General Surgery

Expert care for gallbladder, hernias, and abdominal-wall conditions.

Board-certified general surgery — the foundation of Dr. Eduardo's training — performed laparoscopically or with robotic assistance wherever possible for the smallest incisions and fastest recovery.

Procedure 01

Gallbladder Removal

Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Outpatient relief from gallstone pain.

Minimally invasive removal of the gallbladder through small incisions. Most patients go home the same day and return to normal activity within a week.

Duration
45–75 min, outpatient
Recovery
Normal activity in ~1 week

Procedure 02

Hernia Repair

Inguinal, Umbilical, Incisional & Ventral Hernia Repair

Laparoscopic and robotic repair for all hernia types.

We repair inguinal (groin), umbilical (belly button), incisional (post-surgical), and complex ventral hernias using laparoscopic and robotic techniques, often with mesh reinforcement.

Duration
1–2 hours depending on type
Recovery
Light activity in ~1–2 weeks

Procedure 03

Abdominal Wall Reconstruction

Complex Abdominal Wall Reconstruction

For large, recurrent, or complicated hernias.

Advanced reconstruction for patients with large, recurrent, or previously repaired hernias that require specialized technique — often combining component separation and mesh reinforcement.

Duration
3–5 hours depending on complexity
Recovery
Progressive return over ~4–6 weeks

Procedure 04

Advanced Endoscopy

Upper & Lower Endoscopy

Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy in-office or outpatient.

Upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy for diagnosis, biopsy, and select therapeutic interventions. Often used pre- and post-bariatric surgery to evaluate symptoms and anatomy.

Duration
15–45 min
Recovery
Same-day
